Vinyl Lettering

Well I finally put the vinyl lettering on Liam's wall that I bought for him when I was still pregnant. I had big dreams for his nursury. I waited until we could move the bookcase out and possibly the twin bed (and now his changing table that we don't use because we have a wiggle worm instead of a newborn). None of that rearranging has happened and I thought I better put the lettering to good use before I don't have a place for it at all... or a little boy that doesn't want it on his wall.

Anyway, here it is... I custom ordered the definition of his name. The first definition is the real deal ("unwavering protector"... perfect for the eldest child). The second and third definitions I made up for my precious boy. So far so true.

The Norman Rockwell prints I found at a garage sale about 3 years ago and planned to frame them if I had a little boy someday... I am glad I got to put them to good use. I love the old fashioned scenes of boys being boys.

Looks great! I love the definition you chose.

We need to move Kaden into his own room soon. He still eats too much at night- but soon. I had my mom paint some pictures that match his noah's ark themed crib set(a handmedown- but very cute :)). I love the pictures she painted. I hope Kaden likes them for a long time. I think Liam will like his for a long time.

That looks AWESOME!!! You did such a good job at putting that together. And I always love a garage sale bargain!! Cute Cute!! I am going to try and think of what I could put in Jude's room. Maybe just his name and def. like yours. I just love that!

Be sure to use the link for "It's a Sign". You can do whatever custom thing you want. I want to do "Always Kiss Me Goodnight" above our bed.

That looks so great! How did you keep the lines so straight? And what wonderful expectations his name has. Big brothers are the best.

The lettering comes in the format you see it. The letters are placed backwards on a HUGE peice of giant masking tape and all you have to do it place it and rub the letters onto the wall. It takes no effort to make it look that good except for the rubbing. BTW, with shipping, this only cost me $15.

That's great! I love Norman Rockwell.

When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I bought wooden letters that spelled her name and planned to paint them and hang them up....they're still sitting in a drawer somewhere. :-( I still want to do it for her!

Wow! That is so much easier (and less expensive) than I thought! Thanks!

Oh my gosh- I LOVE THIS! So awesome! I love the fonts you chose. I love that name, too. I think I've already said that before!

Very cute idea. I don't think my oldest would like the the definition of her name...it means "dark skinned". It is a beautiful name despite the definition. I have "Always Kiss Me Goodnight" painted on a board in my bedroom. I love your baby quilt.

I love it! I think it's so nice for kids to have something personal in their rooms. Even if they are so little, it truely makes it thier place. I love the quilt too!

That is so cool! I need to do that for Isaac, his name means "he will laugh." I really love it because Sarah laughed when God told her that she would have a son. Thanks for the great idea!

I LOVE IT. That is totally something I would put in E's room! Darn it! Too bad we live in an apartment or I'd totally do it.

Just wanted to let you know that I might be copying this idea for Austin's room. :) I really like your idea of using the real definition and then two others that fit his personality.
