Anyway, here it is... I custom ordered the definition of his name. The first definition is the real deal ("unwavering protector"... perfect for the eldest child). The second and third definitions I made up for my precious boy. So far so true.
The Norman Rockwell prints I found at a garage sale about 3 years ago and planned to frame them if I had a little boy someday... I am glad I got to put them to good use. I love the old fashioned scenes of boys being boys.

We need to move Kaden into his own room soon. He still eats too much at night- but soon. I had my mom paint some pictures that match his noah's ark themed crib set(a handmedown- but very cute :)). I love the pictures she painted. I hope Kaden likes them for a long time. I think Liam will like his for a long time.

That looks so great! How did you keep the lines so straight? And what wonderful expectations his name has. Big brothers are the best.
The lettering comes in the format you see it. The letters are placed backwards on a HUGE peice of giant masking tape and all you have to do it place it and rub the letters onto the wall. It takes no effort to make it look that good except for the rubbing. BTW, with shipping, this only cost me $15.

When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I bought wooden letters that spelled her name and planned to paint them and hang them up....they're still sitting in a drawer somewhere. :-( I still want to do it for her!
