My Life Monday 5

Week 5 - A picture of something significant to me:Need I say more?

Oh, well, okay...

I have been a picture freak since I was a teenager or maybe sooner. I can't remember exactly.

When I moved to Utah for college I got my first credit card at R.C. Willey (a furniture and appliance store). I bought a Pentax camera (pictured above) and I paid like 15 bucks a month on it to build my credit... we all gotta start somewhere, right?

Well, I have taken countless pictures with this awesome little camera. I upgraded to a digital camera last year, an Olympus D-580. That was the MOST important baby item we HAD to buy while I was pregnant! I read the manual and learned how to use iPhoto on my Mac! I was prepared to go nuts taking sweet photos of my baby boy! And that I did... just take a looksy at my blog! And Liam's grandparents can attest that I am religious about sending photo batches to them every other day. They get the full photo shoot, you readers only get the best 2 or 3. I don't want to look too crazy on this thing. ;) BUT, I am crazy about my kiddo!

So other than my sweet little family, the camera is a very significant part of my daily life. I don't want to miss a "Kodak Moment."

this comment isn't about this post but i know i forget to check past posts for comments sometimes. anyway, i just wanted to say what a cutie liam is!! he's so impressive! several weeks ago i actually wrote about liam in my blog (about how amazing he is)! i've never seen a 7 month old (he was 6 at the time i think) do as much as he can! i feel like my little bit is a bit advanced in the physical aspect but not NEARLY as much as liam!! he's going to be a little einstein!

You do take some great shots. I'm more of a point and shoot kind of girl.

I love the name Liam and he's a total cutie!

I love my camera too! Although Kaden always seems to stop and stare at it which of course ruins the spontaneity of the picture. Liam seems to be the perfect subject. Though that is probably much more due to your skill and his good looks :).

It's true, your pics are great! I get trigger happy, too. It's getting so hard to delete the bad shots because even though they may be blurry or I only got half of Maddie's head in the shot, she's still so cute. I've had my iMac for about two months now and already I have like a thousand pictures on it. Anyway, keep the pics coming!

I love my camera too! Exactly how does one take a picture of a camera? Thanks for participating!

I have always loved my camera too.. So how many cameras do you have?

Lee, I can't find your blog... the link goes to your profile, but not your page. I only have 2 cameras. The conventional, pictured, and my digital one. I am no photographer, but maybe someday I will learn how the professionals do all the cool and beautiful stuff.

Isn't modern tehnology wonderful? I am loving my digital camera too (just got it 6 months ago). I'm not sure how I lived without it before.

Thanks for visiting my blog!
