Opinionated Child

I was getting ready for the day and Liam was sitting on the bed playing with my different lotion bottles. Off came my clothes and he looks up and says, "Ewwww mom bum! Huge bum, Mommy!"

I was appalled and said, "What did you say? Huge?"

He replies, "Yeah, Mom, huge bum! Big bum!"

I smiled as I said "that wasn't very nice"... but laughed anyway.

LOL! I have had simaler comments from my kids. You know it's so innocent but it still bugs a little to have someone tell you your caboose is huge!!!!

LOL! That's hilarious! Especially since it is so not true! I saw your family photos- you look great!

I always wonder where kids get this stuff. If it were Kaden I would definitely say he'd been watching too much of the movie Robots. :)

Kimi once told a friend of ours that she wanted to be a tall skinny mom when she grew up. As opposed to a short fat one like hers. She may get to be skinny, but tall isn't in her favor.

That's it. I go on a diet before Little Dude learns any more words. Liam convinced me.

Funny stuff! Owen is fond of telling me I have a fluffy bum, and at first I was a little set back, but then, he's three and thinks he;s a dog 50% of the day, so what does he really know?! Just know that it is definitely just a passing phase... how long it will take to pass through it, you don't know, but kids learn social graces eventually!

I can totally relate. My kids have said very similar things to me. How rude!

Kids are brutally honest, but hey compared to his little bum, maybe he would have said that anyone else's bum was big! LOL!

I have to catch my self from dressing/undressing in front of my son. He asks what anything is. ONe day he asked what my nipple was and I proceeded (TRIED) to explain and asked him where his was and what was it and he proudly raised his shirt and shouted MY NICKEL. I fell out from laughing so hard

HAHAHA!! Kids are so silly. When Cameryn started drawing boobs (with nipples) on all her pictures that when I was like, no more kids in my room while dressing. I tell them now (cuz of course they always want to come in my room) "Mommy needs her privacy". When I'm all dressed and I open the door back up, Cameryn is like "Did you have your privacy mommma?" She's even started asking for privacy sometimes and we all have to leave her room and she shuts the door. Of course that doesn't apply to going potty, where the door is wide open and she often forgets to flush. Oh well

I looked through all the blogs on this page. I'm glad you're good at keeping this up. Wish I was better. Liam is such a handsome little man, with a big personality! I can't wait til he and Sierra get to hang out again.

I'm dying, you are seriously killing me. That is the funniest thing EVER!!!! But seriously, you can't trust a 2 year old, your bum is far from huge!

Yes, it's very very true, your child is partially blind. Your bum is definitely not huge. Heehee, what a funny little man!

Don't be offended..it doesn't take much for something to be HUGE to a 2 year old.

One day I told my daughter that she has the most beautiful hair and skin. I told her I wished I was as beautiful as her. She replied,"Ya, I wish you were beautiful too." OUCH!!
