Roughage
Ian made himself a salad last night close to Liam's bedtime. Liam seemed very interested in it. So Ian gave him a bite and Liam ended up eating half the salad! We were both stunned that he was chewing and swallowing lettuce! Just one more thing that Liam likes to eat and it happens to be healthy! Yay!

I'm jealous! My Liam won't eat lettuce at all! The only salad thing he'll injest are tomatoes. It's a start...
I think my guy would eat mac-n-cheese morning, noon and night if he was in charge!
I eat so many veggies that my kiddos like most of them. I remember being prego with with Shelby. I was craving, cooking, and eating zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, green peppers, and tomatoes all sauted up. AJ and Steve came to me one day and asked when there would be enough for them to have some.
I was so shocked, but made up some for them right away. I didn't know that they liked it. I don't think they did either until they tried it:D
That's wonderful! My boys love salad- usually if covered in Ranch dressing! LOL!

My little grandkids love salad. It is so good for them--especially when it has more than just lettuce.

J loves salad too! It's so nice when they actually enjoy something other than candy and ice cream!
Yay! It's amazing what Kaden will eat from Mommy or Daddy's plate that he won't eat from his own. He will however eat salad if it has dressing on it. He even says yummy as he eats it. :)

Wow!! That is awesome! Cameryn is a really good eater of pretty much everything healthy (except lima beans, but really who likes those) and she still only occasionally will try lettuce. She likes everything else in a salad though.
Count yourself blessed...I can not even count how many mothers I know that wish they could get their kids to eat salad.
That is totally amazing, Elizabeth won't touch it with a 10 foot pole! oh, wait, she will suck the dressing off and then won't touch it!
