So tonight we were driving to our local wholesale club store and Liam starts counting. Ian is my witness that Liam said exactly this:
One, Two, Three, Two, Toes, Silky.
Yes, he got sidetracked with two of his favorite things... toes and silkies. The thing is, his toes were not exposed and there was no silky blanky in hand.
We laughed quite a bit and I am still giggling about it.

LOL!!
Too cute!
How sweet! Kids do really get distracted, don't they! He must have been thinking about what is special to him! :)
It is funny to watch their thought processes. Sometimes I can read my kids minds, other times they blow me away.
He is such a character! And what cute pictures, he really is growing up so fast..
Don't you wish you can a video camera running all the time so that you could get moments like this on film?
That is so funny. I am also still laughing at that. Kids are so easily distracted sometimes. Precious.
Hey, I just noticed your new profile pic. I LOVE it! Liam looks SOOO much like you! It is so apparent that he is your child! Its great, I love it.
This makes me giggle so much! I was a nanny for my cousin when she was very young, and we couldn't figure out why, when she counted, she would say, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12!" She always shouted the 12.
We finally figured out that it was because of the way they count during the one segment on Sesame Street (which I always watched with her, and sang to her). The way they did it, it goes so quick, that it was easy to miss the 10 and 11.
I love the fun quirks that kids have as they are learning!
That's amazing! What a smart boy! Pretty soon he'll be calculating your tax return for you. :)
Too cute! He's a silly head!
This happens quite often with Sierra. I guess they just have so much to see and talk about they can't keep track of everything. Too cute.
Cute! It is so fun remembering and recording the hilarious things they say!
