Wordy Wednesday

Ian has been having a lot of luck with Liam copying the things he says. He does tongue twisters in slow motion with him and has even gone through the whole alphabet with him. We crack up because a lot of what he repeats sounds not-even-close to what that syllables are.

Anyway, here is my attempt at what Ian does with Liam each evening. Ian was at scouts tonight, so he wasn't available to co-star in this video.

P.S. Liam is watching some old clips of himself while he is doing the alphabet... he gets mad because the 30 second video ends and he wants it replayed.

Gina, that is great. It's fun that he seems to love doing it--kids are so like little sponges. Isn't it fun how they love watching themselves on old video. And believe me, years from now they will be priceless.

Wow, he is doing well! His sounds on the alphabet were actually very clear.
Kind of makes Avery look... well you know :)

So cute! I wish I had video of my littles speaking at that age. I kind of miss that baby voice.

Not enough to want another baby, mind you. Just enough to wish I had video. ;)

Love the little baby voice. How easy it is to forget that they didn't know every word in the book at one time :-)

He is so cute. It is cute when they say things in such a funny way. Write it down so you don't forget! I have already forgotten the things Elizabeth said that made us laugh. On another note, don't encourage that speaking too much, then they can just tell you what you are doing wrong and yell at you :o)!

First and foremost...HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLD WOMAN!
Second, I'm going to have to start doing that with Sierra. Liam is really good at verballizing things.

I love that half way through the alphabet he starts to get really serious... he almost looks like he is going to start crying. I was cracking up.
How did he get to be so old all of a sudden? This video really made it clear how old he is getting AND how smart he is. Can't wait to meet him! I'm sure we'll be busting up laughing at all his crazy moments. He just seems like the funniest kid with such a great personality.
