Swimming during a snow storm

Last night (Tuesday) we took Liam swimming. He had such a fun time! Snow or water, these boys thoroughly enjoy either one -- especially together.

After swimming he enjoyed the hot shower in the locker room. I washed him up good and then he played in the water for awhile. I finally convinced him to get in the towel and then I put his jammies and slippers on.

It was odd doing a summer activity in the middle of a nasty snowstorm, but we all had a good time!

Such a fun idea to go swimming in the middle of winter. How fun. Such a great way to wear our boys out too. :)

How fun is that! The pictures are so great!
Jaya loves to swim but hates to get her face wet. I just showed her these pics of Liam. She was genuinely surprised to see Liam smiling in the next pic after getting his face wet - must not be as bad as she's imagined after all! She says she will try it next time. :)

I giggle about the shower thing because that was Little Dude's favorite part about our visit to the water park last year. He spent so much time in the shower!

You've really caught up, giving me a lot to read this morning! Liam just keeps getting cuter. What would we do without the sweet Saedi? She's often come to my rescue too, and so cheerfully! As for the meltdowns, I'm thinking once a week per daughter is good. I make myself feel better by rationalizing that the strong personalities will help them be successful in this crazy world as they get older.

Where did you guys go swimming? That's so cool that you have an indoor pool to go to in the winter months....I'm jealous!

Wow he's so brave. Khalil would NEVER be that adventurous in THAT much water. In the tub, yes all day long he will splash and play like he's swimming, but when it comes to the pool that's a whole nother story. Lol

Liam is a little fishy.
