That evening we took a trip to Wal-mart as a family. I found my sun glasses and handed them to him (as both Ian and I still had our glasses on). He did his cute little tickled giggle and said "GOO GOO GOGGLES!!!"
I had to laugh! Dr. Suess really has an influence on my toddler!
He immediately put them on all by himself!
Liam wore the glasses into Wal-mart. He's becoming one of those toddlers that insists on wearing weird items in public. He always carries his blue Lightning McQueen car. This morning, all morning, he wore his doggie harness back pack, a glow necklace, shoelaces and wouldn't let go of one of my "orange" ear plugs... and don't forget "boo car" in the other hand.

I just bought Kaden sunglasses from the dollar bin at Target. :) He's still unsure of them- he thinks they are cool but he doesn't really like looking through them. When he wakes Matt up in the morning he always tells him, "get glasses." He knows that's the next step to Matt getting up. :) Funny how they pick up on our routines.
I don't know if you've seen the movie Big Daddy, but suspect you have....so funny how Adam Sandler lets him wear whatever he wants...looks like Liam will be the charmer!
Alice, that is exactly what this reminded me of... I said so to Ian as we were putting Liam in the cart at Wal-mart. Too funny!
Very cute - Poor Little Dude has been "forced" to wear sunglasses for a long time. I was actually amazed that The Children's Place had them for a reasonable amount, especially since we can't afford anything else in that store! :-)
Goo Goo Goggles works for me!
He looks adorable!
My kids wear weird items in public too. For a long time S insisted on wearing his Spiderman costume. At first I said no. He cried. Then, I thought why not? There are bigger battles than this.
Hilarious! I love this age. :)
Is that Bono from U2 in a car seat?
Oh that a future star. LIAM
How nice that he didn't break your glasses. I have been through 6-7 pairs of glasses since July last year because of kids snping them in half (and also me losing them). Very handsome little man you have there.
How cute. He is just so dang adorable!
I know that most 2-year-olds probably have similar speach sounds...but it totally makes me smile to read that your Liam and my Liam refer to themselves as "We-um!" It is just soooo darn cute!! I can just picture both of them introducing themselves to one another... "I'm We-um" "I'm We-um too!"
He's got an eye for style, that's for sure.
Love, Rita Rickman
