A weekend away...

I have to say I am really excited to go see our friends in Idaho this weekend! Not just because we get to see our really cool friends who have a way of making us laugh pretty hard... But because I get to spend the whole weekend with my husband and little boy. We haven't seen much of Ian in the past couple weeks because of a big side project he working on after work each night and on Saturdays. WE'VE MISSED HIM!

So thinking about the road trip this evening has gotten me in a great mood! I get to sit in the car for a few hours and catch up with Ian a bit. Then we'll be doing other fun things with our friends once we reach Idaho. And looking forward to having Monday off of work is always a mood booster too!

We're off like a herd of turtles...

I will have a report late Sunday or Monday!

So glad to hear that you are able to get away together. Have a fun and safe trip, looking forward to "The trip report" when you return. Congrats Liam on your teeth and suitcase exit. We knew he was a smart one from the start.

I love catching up on road trips! It's the best when you have something to talk about and lots of time...

I always liked taking a craft project with me on the road too. Annabelle has put a little bit of a damper in my crafting spirit, but it's still fun to whip out a scarf to knit or something simple.

Have fun!! Too bad we can't be gal pals and travel somewhere together!

I'm glad that you are getting a much needed mini vacation with Ian and Liam. I am also jealous. Matt has to work tomorrow and maybe Sunday and probably next weekend too. Blah! I hate it when he has to work on the weekends. We are getting our much needed vacation the end of this month though- we'll be in Seattle (Matt for one week and me and Kaden for 2) :)

Yup Gavin and I are thinking of taking the children on a little holiday. Seems like this year has just pasted us by so quickly. Gavin has been working so much lately and I miss him. I think its time for a holiday to.
