Friday night fun

So, Sharon and Tyler's wedding reception was a blast! Liam had fun running wild with some other kids and I had a great time snapping lots of photos. The main photographer, Tomi, was so gracious and fun to "talk shop" with.

Liam had a great time chowing down on cheesecake, playing with the table decorations and dancing like a madman. Once they cut the wedding cake, he made sure to find a way to get himself some of that too.

So, Liam got to bed about two hours later than usual that night. We got him tucked in and then went downstairs to watch TV and play online as we usually do. Fast forward a couple hours when it's time for us to go to bed... Ian goes to switch on the bathroom light and finds a premature April Fool's prank all over his hand. In the light he sees quite the masterpiece of Aquafresh goodness EVERYWHERE! He calls me up and we kinda chuckle at this daunting clean-up job. Assault victims: Mr. Tiolet, Madam Dryer, Le New Shower Curtain, Sir Sink, and Ms. Carpeted Top Step. We debated on whether to wake the monster who created the mess (when he should have been in bed) then I made the executive decision to take photos of the crime scene and let the sleep-deprived gremlin rest.

How is it that a 1-3 year old could be trusted, but a 4 year old cannot? This is not the first issue with trust since he had his 4th birthday. I guess they all have their phase of ruin-all-of-the-parents'-things-because-the-naughty-cat-doesn't-do-enough-damage.

I just posted about the mischief my 3 year old has started. She never did anything like this before and now I'm wondering where my angel went!

Only one question... How do I freeze time, so my little guy doesn't hit this stage? Joking, kind-of... Oh heavens...

Naughty little monkey! My boys think it's quite funny, though.

OH me OH my. I need more pictures of his masterpiece please.

I do NOT want to hit this untrustworthy stage. I let the kids wander and roam the house freely and have rarely had any issues. PLEASE NO!!!

Oh, that toilet is TOO funny! It makes for a great story at least...

Glad you are loving your camera!!

I love the toilet shot! He looked like he had fun while trying to get sleepy! I am sorry you had to clean up the after effects, but thanks for taking a picture before then and letting us all see and smile about it!

LOL! What a crack up! I was in the middle of getting seriously hacked at my little guy (who turned FOUR today!) when I saw that your picture. It's a lot funnier when you can share it.

A couple of years ago, he took a red marker and marked every window sill in the upstairs of our house. (white trim...) Sometimes you can only laugh.
