Botanical Lover

In the past month Liam has learned to say "flower" in his own way. When asked to say "flower" he responds with the sniffing sound one would make by actually sniffing the scent of a flower. It's adorable and evokes laughter out of me every time he does it.

Here he is sniffing Grandma's flowers that Grandpa sent to her last week.

Liam also enjoyed going to his Great Grandparents' house on Sunday evening and sniffing all their roses. He also liked keeping an eye on the bunny roaming around in the neighbor's yard.

He is growing up so fast! Such a cutie! There is something so Ian about that bottom photo. Something about the way he's standing and the way he's smiling. Cute boy!

I love how Liam "sniffs" when asked to say flower. One year olds do the cutest things! They're the best!

Love the way he is closing his eyes and taking in the aroma of the flowers. Just too adorable!

So, so sweet! A young fella who appreciates flowers grows into a big man who gives them to his momma and wife frequently. Right? I hope I'm right and not just sounding like a fortune cookie.

This post reminds that when Steven was little and you asked him to say cat or where the kitty was he would just purr. I mean he really sounded like the cat purring. Wish he still could it was pretty neat.
