Liam Takes the Wheel
Since Liam could walk and meet his dad in the driveway when he gets home from work they have done this. Daddy opens his car door for Liam and Liam gets on his lap to "go for a drive." Ian humors our boy by going up and down the driveway 15 feet back and forth for a few minutes. Liam gets the biggest kick out of it, but I think Daddy does too! Such simple pleasures...

How sweet! I've let "J" sit on my lap and "drive" while we're parked and waiting for Preschool to start. I think I may stop because now he's old enough to think of taking the keys and trying on his own when I'm not looking! LOL!

I love letting Eliza steer as we drive laps around the house and yard. Yes, we live in the sticks where that is possible! She is pretty good at it too. We had to lay off for a while because she was demanding to drive when we would be in the Wal-Mart parking lot and we would have to physically force her into her car seat while she screamed that it was her turn to drive! It was so funny. I need to let her drive again. Maybe tomorrow...
The best form of male bonding I've seen yet. I love the big smile on Liam's face. He is in heaven!
