Rock Haven Part II

Well Liam and I kept the tradition we started last year and hiked to Stewart Falls again for Independence Day weekend. This time Daddy joined us as well as our good neighbors. Josh and his parents were fun to have with us. It was so cute to hear the 4 and 5 year old chatter as we made our way through the mountain trails. Liam was the leader, of course, and sometimes the chatter slowed him down, but we made pretty good time and had some laughs along the way.

We rode the Sundance ski lift to the top, hiked to the falls, played in the spray, then hiked down the other side of the run off. The hike seemed shorter to me this year, but it proved to be slightly too long for Liam this time around. He had to take a few rests and drank tons of water along the way. I guess our hike last week didn't fully prepare our muscles, but we all made it through in good spirits.

It was a fun outing and I can't wait to do it again next year!

Looks beautiful! I need to do that hike. I'd love to do the Grotto with you on Monday, but I'm in Oregon, darn.

What a beautiful place. I have to give it to Utah, it has some amazing sites up in the mountains. Just spectacular!
