Snow Indoors X 2

It snowed in our house twice in 24 hours time!

Sunday afternoon Ian changed Liam's diaper and left the baby powder open. Not 5 minutes later I found Liam in a white mess in his bedroom. He helped clean it up and all was well.

Monday morning Liam was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It was quiet in the front room, the usual, as he watched his favorite show. I was on my computer in the family room. I suddenly smelled the sweet aroma of his baby powder and wondered why I would be smelling that. I wised up and ran to the living room to find everything covered in white powder. Everything! I had left his powder open and left it on top of the TV console. Whoops... a much bigger mess to clean up this time and Liam was not assigned to help.

I don't know what the intrigue with baby powder is, but both of my boys got into it and spread it everywhere when they were Liam's age. Isn't it frustrating and funny all at the same time?

Speaking of "snow", isn't this weather we're having in Utah so strange? The forecast said it's supposed to be 83 degrees today, but that it's supposed to snow tomorrow! Weird...

LOL! That reminds me of how we have to hide the salt and pepper shakers from Kaden every time we go to a restaurant.

Don't you just love it!! Yesterday it was a bag of suger for me...and the day before that it was an economy size bag of cereal. I am thinking half day preschool will be in order for my two oldest come fall!!

That's too funny! I have a picture my mom took when I was about Liam's age of me covering my toybox with powder. You should have grabbed your camera! (Maybe there will be a next time?)

Bella used to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse all the time too (before we cancelled cable). I have that song in my head now! At least it's a fun jingle!

It's a shame you didn't get pictures! Hugs!

Sorry no photos. The camera has been in the car (out of reach) with a dead battery AND I was a little beyond frustrated when I found these messes.

I feel for you. Cleaning up powder messes are no fun.

Just imagine if he got a hold of foot powder. My son got hold of his uncle's foot powder and filled his whole shoe. I didn't have to worry about his feet sweating that day

At least the powder smells good ; )

Hopefully you won't have to do it again.

Ah, memories. When my youngest was about this age, she not only got into the powder, but decided to first drizzle her friend with baby oil, and THEN sprinkle her (and the rest of the bedroom) with baby powder. That was a mess for the carpet cleaner. Ugh.

At least it smells good!

Ah, two year old joys! I've been there. When Eliza was two she went through a stage where she loved to get into the powder dish washing detergent. She'd take it into the family room, go behind the couch and poor the whole box out. After two boxes wasted, I finally locked it up better. Then she discovered the liquid dish soap... Ugh!

Thanks for the reminder to watch where I store the baby powder. Going to go move that (and my makeup) right now...

Oops! At least powder wipes and vacuums easier than the diaper creme!

I HATE that!! I have definitely learned not to leave baby powder open. At least it wasn't vasaline, which Luke has now gotten into TWICE!!
