And yet there's more?

Yes, there is more! Liam played with his pennies and jar for an hour tonight! He didn't want to go to bed he was having SO much fun! I am baffled by this because in the mornings he doesn't seem interested in this activity, but at night he does. It sure would be nice to have a boy entertained for an hour while I do work in the morning. Hmmm....

The other thing that humored me about the pennies is this: I was looking for the remote so I could record a show for Ian while he was at scouts tonight. I lifted the couch cushions to see if I could find it there. No luck. BUT - Liam saw me do this and he lifted the cushion back up. I looked where he had lifted and there were 4 pennies under there! He was so delighted by this and grabbed them to put in his little jar. Then, every time the jar was full, he wanted me to dump the pennies back under the cushion. Too funny the requests I get from this kid. I got some charming clips of him playing. 2 clips included him faking me out by putting a penny near his mouth to see my reaction. Oh that stinker, he cracks me up!

I talked to Liam's Grandpa tonight and he suggested cutting shapes out of a box so Liam could fit things through the different sizes. Well I was lazy and made one big hole for Liam to put his blocks through. He thought that was cool enough. He spent quite a bit of time putting them all in there, then starting over again.

He must do this at night because the house ia quiet and his alittle tired. During the day there is so much going on he cant sit still long enough. He is so,so cute.

How cute was his little face when he was faking you out with the pennies by his mouth.... All little boy that one.Maybe Liam is not a morning person like his Grandma and comes alive later in the day and evening. But I must brag and say he sure is a darling little boy. And SMART. Grandma Dixie

Didn't you know? Kids will always all of a sudden enjoy an activity right when it's time to go to bed. Never when you want them to. :-) Very cute.

That box idea is just awesome!

And Annabelle likes to shove coins in between the cushions too... I'm always finding money in the strangest places these days.

If I give Sierra pennies she eats them. You're lucky your boy doesn't put everything in his mouth. The other day Sierra got ahold of a 10 dollar bill and ate part of it. I found the other half in a wet wod in her room. Obviously, she doesn't know the value of a dollar!

Jude was dancing to that music. AND he thinks that is a picture of his eyes at the top.

I love to watch Liam play. He is SO smart and you are a great mom for making such fun toys for him to learn with.

Yay for pennies and boxes with holes! I totally did the same thing once - I had plans to cut out a bunch of shapes from the lid of a box and it ended up being just one big whole. And of course, Sam still loved it. And thank you for directing me to your list below - we're hurtin' for stuff to do around here lately with this weather. Time to bust out the muffin tins.

I really love the videos because I get a better sense of his personality. The look on his face when he was "tempting" to put a penny in his mouth was priceless. Such a Q T!
