The 4th of July

There is nothing like a warm summer night with a watermelon stained face and helping Dad light fireworks!

We had Ian's parents and brothers over for a divine bbq with ribs and chicken, Ian's awesome potato salad, baked beans and grilled squash straight from the garden! It was a really nice evening with our family.

He is looking more and more like a boy and not a toddler! Such a handsome guy!

Looks like the perfect fourth.

He had so much fun! Wish I could've seen his reaction to the fireworks.

Looks like you guys had a great time.

Sorry it's been so long. Life has been so crazy lately. Looks like you and Liam have been doing some fun things this summer. You are such a fun mom!

Such a cutie! And you have squash already? My squash plant is pitiful this year. Sniff, sniff... It's probably out there in the back yard squeaking, "This pregnant fool never waters me and wonders why I won't grow..." Next year I will have a fabulous garden, this year I'm growing something else really important...

Liam eats squash? The only one who will eat squash around here is me and occasionally Austin (sure to change once he gets older).

I'm glad it was such a fun holiday for the family. It's definitely the sign of being a kid to have watermelon juice all over your face and be all the happier for it.
