Praise to the Man

Not just the name of a song that pays homage to a prophet, but also a phrase that gives merit to a little person in my life that has been making an impact.

Today I couldn't get enough of Liam. His good behavior and pleasant attitude. His consistent use of manners without prompting. His laugh when I stole a kiss from him at the store. His long conversation with a friend I overheard at the pool today. His little voice repeating a Primary song that he is insistent on practicing. His impromptu hugs and I-love-you's. His what-if scenarios. His sincere prayer asking Heavenly Father to help him NOT say he doesn't like church tomorrow and special request that he'll sing loud in Primary.

His goodness just made my cup runneth over today!!! I am so blessed to have such a sweet little man in my life. He is so fun and so loving! What a special guy he is!

Millcreek Park

I went to pick up Liam from Kim's tonight and she asked if we were headed to Millcreek Park for a 50's themed picnic and car show. I replied that I knew nothing about it. She showed me the newspaper clipping and I saw there would be free food... so we were on our way.

Old fashioned hamburger buns was the first thing I saw and then the spread got better from there. Hamburgers/hotdogs, corn on the cob, watermelon, potato salad, brownies, and ice cream! Liam found us a picnic table and I ate and ate and ate. After stuffing my face we went to see the old cars and then Liam went over to the playground.
