Experiencing Spring Rain

I took Liam out of the car when we got home yesterday and he booked it for the driveway... It had just started pouring down rain and I asked Ian to go grab him before he got drenched. Ian said to let him play and go get the camera.

So we let him experience rain and he was having SO much fun. I didn't get any smiles on camera, but he was darting everywhere and raising his arms to touch the rain drops.

In other news... I picked Liam up from the sitter this evening and he was a completely different boy. I was given the report that he ate his lunch and the fruit I packed for him! Liam has got his appetite back! Woo hoo!

Tonight he was so sweet and darling and BACK... he's back! Yay! I missed him very much!

Every phase with children is short, as long as it feels in the moment. In the beginning you think they'll never sleep through the night, then you think they'll never stop teething, and then you'll wonder if the temper tantrums will ever subside. Well, the tantrums may carry on (I still throw one here and there and I'm 31.)

I remember Bella going through a short phase at about 18 months old where she just wouldn't sleep past 4 a.m. I had a newborn Noah too, so I thought I just couldn't go on. But, it stopped. We survived. I'm so glad you have the little man back again, I so totally know what you're talking about!

I am so glad Liam is feeling better. Teeth are aweful, or should I say teething is aweful. You are amazing that you are still nursing. The longest I ever made it was six months. I'm trying to go longer with Logan. He's only four months old so we'll see how I do. It's fun to read your blog. You family is very cute. Jami
